Product care and maintenance

Solid timber finishes

Please ensure your piece is used for its intended purpose only to ensure its beauty and longevity.

All our timber pieces are finished with premium hardwax oils, made from natural, sustainable raw materials that are kind to our planet and safe for people and pets. The hardwax oils used are food safe, water resistant and micro-porous, allowing the timber to breathe. To maintain the piece, clean spills immediately with a clean cloth. Dust regularly. Do not rest hot dishes, cups etc. on the surface of the piece; use trivets and heat protectors. Use coasters for all drinks.

A furniture cleaner can be used to maintain and protect the finish of your product. We recommend Whittle Wax Furniture Care Spray.

Concrete finishes

Products with concrete finishes (such as our Beton collection) are sealed with a high performance, low sheen and food safe sealer. To maintain the finish of your concrete piece, clean spills immediately with a cloth and dust regularly. Do not rest hot dishes, cups etc. on the surface and ensure a heat protector is used. Use coasters for all drinks.
